Root and Fly
This quilt gives the sense of flying geese, circling and taking off to the sky. The illusion is accomplished using a simple appliqué technique to place the geese around the center piece. The original pattern is a full size quilt (72"X84"), but can be scaled down to half size for a striking wall hanging (36"X42"). Pick your favourite whimsical fabric and set those geese free to fly.
